Councilors of Misaje council unanimously and confidently voted the 2025 administrative and management account of Mayor Sammy Mgbata of over 700.000.000 frs
The Misaje council session aimed at examining and voting of the above accounts took place at the Misaje council hall on the 12, March 2026 and presided at by the D. O of Misaje Mr Fotuma Martin ,sitting in for the SDO of Donga Mantung Division.
In his welcome address, the Mayor of Misaje council pleaded with them to focus on amelioration the living conditions of the communities which they represent.
In his closing remarks the representative of the SDO in the person of soft spoken DO Fotuma Martin of Misaje appreciated not only the Mayor but the entire staff and councilors for their efforts to move the council forward despite all challenges.
He insisted that the administrative account must reflect the execution of projects to improve the living conditions of the population.
He prescribes collective efforts and stressed on the need to step revenue collections and added that transparency and accountability must be a driving force if the council must develop to meet up the needs of the population.
