Some 1000 people from about 200 families, especially the vulnerable, the elderly, including children, women, people with disabilities and pregnant women received humanitarian relief from the Presidential Couple. The relief material consisted of food and non-food items like vegetable oil, rice, sardine, soap, farm implements such as hoes, matchets, wheel barrows and fertilizer. This relief material and farm implements from the Presidential Couple comes on the heels of floods that swept away farms and harvested produce.
