YOUTH DAY 2025: Ngoketunjia Denizens Celebrate in Grandeur
Ngoketunjia joined the nation in celebrating the 59th Youth Day. The event, held at the Ndop grandstand, was led by the division's Chief Executive Officer, Handerson Quetong Kongeh.
The population set aside their fears and gathered in large numbers at the Ndop grandstand to demonstrate their patriotic and civic responsibility to the Nation, Cameroon
After the event, S.D.O. Quetong Handerson expressed his satisfaction with the large turnout of Ndop residents for this year's celebration. Activities of the day all went hitch free. The S.D.O went ahead to appreciate the efforts of all stakeholders who ensured a successful celebration
Honourable Njingum Musa, the MP for Ngoketunjia North and Questor of the National Assembly, was also present. His efforts in mobilising the community for a successful Youth Day celebration were acknowledged by the division's administrative authorities.
The day's activities included, a rebroadcast of the Head of State's message to the Youth, march past, socio-cultural dances, and a football and handball match.
Two political parties represented at the National Assembly, the Cameroon People Democratic Movement (CPDM) and Bello Bouba's National Union for Democracy and Progress (NUDP), participated in this year's event. Their involvement demonstrates their commitment to civic and Republican duty.
This year's theme is “Youth: Maturity and Responsibility for the Consolidation of Peace, Security, Economic Growth, and the Democratic Process.”
