MINMIDT Celebrates International Labour Day 2025 with Commitment, Culture, and Recognition.
Yaoundé, May 1, 2025 The Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development (MINMIDT) joined national and international celebrations to mark the 139th edition of International Labour Day under the theme: “Social Dialogue and Decent Work: For a Peaceful Cameroon.”
Under the leadership of the Minister, Professor Fuh Calistus Gentry, MINMIDT staff showcased their skills, dedication, and professionalism throughout a week-long series of activities that culminated in a strong display of solidarity and festivity.
The highlight of the celebrations was the workers’ vibrant participation in the traditional Labour Day parade along Boulevard du 20 Mai. Dressed in coordinated attire and marching in unity, MINMIDT personnel demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the ministry’s objectives and national development goals.
Following the parade, the celebrations continued at the banquet hall of Hotel Girafe.
