Official launching of Mayor Menyong Lawrence's unity football competition in NWA

The launching of Mayor Menyong Lawrence unity cup competition, 3th Edition took place today in Nwa munisipal stadium.  Mbem Rengers FC vs Amateur FC Nwa  were the two teams that opened the crowd pulling competition.

The unavoidable 3rd edition of Mayor Menyong Lawrence took place in NWA this weekend. The unprecedented colourful ceremony brought together football club representatives from all the villages that make up NWA subdivision. 

According to the dynamic Mayor of Nwa., Mr Menyong Lawrence, the aims of the competition are to promote unity, love and peace of the people of Nwa in a turbulent North West Region. 

This year's 3rd edition was a barometer to measure the degree of peace and normalcy that the subdivision has witnessed of recent. 

Besides the organization of football competition to occupy the youths during this summer holiday, Mayor Menyong Lawrence has together with his collaborators of the council, registered untold lifetime achievements backed by several media awards. (Developing story)...
