On the Occasion of the Launch of the Achidi Achu Foundation’s Free Health Campaign in Santa
On behalf of the good people of Santa and the surrounding communities, and in my capacity as their humble representative, I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to the Achidi Achu Foundation for the noble initiative you have launched under the theme “Peace to Foster Health for All.”
This campaign is not merely an event; it is a message of hope and a living testimony to the values of humanity, solidarity, and compassion that our late Right Honourable Dr. Simon Achidi Achu stood for throughout his lifetime. By bringing healthcare services freely to the doorstep of our people, especially the vulnerable, the poor, and those in hard-to-reach areas, the Foundation is giving practical meaning to the belief that good health is the foundation of peace, productivity, and sustainable development.
Many of our people in Santa have for long struggled with limited access to health facilities, high costs of treatment, and preventable diseases that continue to burden households. Your presence here today, with doctors, nurses, and health practitioners volunteering their time, resources, and expertise, has already brought relief to countless families. You have rekindled faith in community service, and you have reminded us all that when we come together as one, no challenge is insurmountable. God bless you our Dear mother DG Camtel
I particularly appreciate the inclusiveness of this campaign — covering children, youth, women, the elderly, and persons living with disabilities. Such an approach ensures that no one is left behind in the pursuit of peace.
