STATEMENT OF THE POLITICAL BUREAU OF MANIDEM

THE WIND OF VICTORY HAS RISEN
Dear compatriots,

Since the end of the 19th century, the people of Kamerun have been fighting for their freedom, once against the colonizer, and today against the rampant neocolonialism in Africa.

The sacrificial nature of this struggle therefore extends across all generations and is the pride of the entire Kamerunian People.

For forty-three (43) years, Kamerun has been experiencing an unspeakable disaster due to the ravages of the policy pursued by the CPDM regime of Mr. BIYA. The Kamerunians have risen, the Kamerunians have fought, the Kamerunians are fighting, and they will continue to fight.

MANIDEM, heir to the heroic struggle of the UPC, is closely following the efforts deployed by several groups of patriots, including the Douala Group, to put an end to this neocolonial dictatorship.

This is the fundamental reason for its participation in the 2025 presidential election, materialized through the nomination of Maurice KAMTO for this election.

The forfeiture of the Constitutional Council, which fraudulently disqualified our candidate, is only an unfortunate episode of this struggle, but it is only a passing episode.

MANIDEM and its candidate are determined, despite this forfeiture, to continue the struggle until the end of this regime. It therefore supports all groups, all political and civil initiatives in the search for a consensus candidate for 2025.

MANIDEM and its candidate Maurice KAMTO are convinced that the solution to this thorny problem of opposition forces’ synergy will be found, so that we may finally be freed from this evil that is eating away at our country.

In the coming days, MANIDEM will take bold initiatives to achieve this goal, which today appears as a sacred objective for the Kamerunian People.

In a few days, we will commemorate the 77th anniversary of the cowardly assassination of Ruben UM NYOBE, an emblematic figure of the struggle of the Kamerunian People, on September 13, 1958.

A good opportunity to pay tribute to him. ONLY STRUGGLE PAYS!

MANIDEM ALWAYS SAYS WHAT IT DOES AND DOES WHAT IT SAYS.
