Presidential Couple Offers Bikers Free Fuel Month, 500 Rice Bags to Underprivileged.

The Presidential couple has through the Minister of Territorial Administration, President Biya's Special Envoy, Minister Paul Atanga Nji offered a one-month free fuel to commercial bike riders operating within  the Bamenda City  Council and 500 bags of rice and 500 blankets to vulnerable persons from the 34 Sub--Divisions and 07 Divisions of the North West Region.
The one-month free fuel announcement was made by Minister Atanga Nji at the Senior Divisional Officer for Mezam's Courtyard on October 03, 2025 during  the distribution of the said rice and blankets to the underprivileged persons. The Presidential Couple's fuel will be distributed to the bikers by the City Mayor to the Bamenda City Council, Paul Achobong Tembeng.
Drawing inspiration from late Achidi Achu's, erstwhile Prime Minsiter's adage: "politic na scratch my back,  I scratch your own",  Minister Atanga Nji told the over 2000 attendees at the event that iit was their own time to "scratch President Paul Biya's back" in response to his boundless largess to the region, by giving him a 100% victory in the upcoming Presidential election. In a bid to further woo 100% votes for President Biya, the MINAT Boss, told the population that apart from other high posts of responsibility given by President to many sons and daughters of North West Region, the region boasts of  two Prime Ministers who have marked their steps on the sand of Cameroon's history under Biya's reign.

The Minister stated that the raison d'ĂȘtre of his visit to the North West Region as instructed by the President of the Republic, was to assess the security situation of the region in preparation to the October 12, Presidential election. He hailed the bikers for boycotting the imposed ghost town by separatists, stating categorically that, "anything associated to ghost is evil", the MINAT Boss warns.

Elated with the Presidential couple's largesse, the recipients greeted Minister Atanga Nji with songs in pidgin English like "na we papa be that eh, we no get another one, na wa papa be that eh." in appreciation to the gesture. The population ended by taking a special commitment to give Presidential Biya a resounding succeed come October 12, 2025.

Speaking earlier, Paul Achobong Tembeng, the City Mayor to the Bamenda City Council in his welcome address, thanked the population for coming in their numbers to receive the MINAT Boss despite the imposed ghost town by separatists.
