Vote of thanks!
We thank the NW region whose 90 representatives overwhelmingly voted us into the Regional Executive Council (REC). Yes under the leadership of the CPDM Permanent Coordinator for the North- West Region, PM Emeritus Yang, UNGA President for Life, the representatives gave us a 97.7% plebiscite on the 16th of December. I elect to use this moment to convey my sincere thanks to all for the historic backing given to the Divisional Representatives
during the Regional elections held on November 30, 2025, as well as for the party's
resulting commitment and vote that placed us, in all modesty, in the North-West
Regional Assembly, and subsequently renewing their trust in my humble person as P/ REC, leader of the executive. This trust at this crucial moment in the life of our country and given the significant importance of our region in the national body polity, is more than recognition of the achievements of the pioneer mandate. We are aware of the immense hope that our community places upon us to deliver the peace and development they so desperately seek! We commit to turn promises into prosperity, challenges into opportunities, needs into mature projects whose execution will improve livelihoods.
We do not, and shall never take your confidence, endorsement, trust and support for granted. We pledge and we vouch to burn the
midnight oil to earn and merit your confidence. We promise that we shall do
everything within our prowess not to fail you, God being our helper.
As we look forward to consolidating our gains, and drawing from lessons learnt at
the recent Presidential and Regional consultations, I humbly invite all to join the development committees of neighborhoods, villages and the sub-divisional, divisional peace and development committees for dialogues, reconciliation and peace building. Once more thank you, thank you and thank you!
